About us
From a small workshop to a modern manufacturer
The story of Calzaturificio Ardito began in 1926 in Cava de' Tirreni, in the heart of Campania's artisan tradition, on the initiative of Gaetano Ardito. What started as a small shoemaking workshop has grown over time into a modern manufacturing company, with 14 workers and 35% of its production sold abroad, while keeping intact the value from which everything began: a passion for shoes and care for craftsmanship.
Three generations have carried on this legacy, handing down experience, skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of materials and techniques has gone hand in hand with the ability to evolve, interpreting changes in the market and new fashion trends.
The result is a shoe made entirely in Italy, where the latest technology works alongside careful craftsmanship in every detail and precise finishing.

From our tradition to international markets
Over time we have taken our experience beyond local borders: today 35% of our production is sold abroad. We work with shops, boutiques and retailers, in Italy and around the world, who recognise the value of shoes made in Italy and look for products that stand out for the quality of their materials, their style and their finishing.
We take part in MICAM Milano, the leading international footwear trade fair: an opportunity to present our collections, meet professionals and buyers, and keep up a constant dialogue with the worlds of fashion and retail.
